About me

Greetings! I'm Sanjid, presently an undergraduate at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. My scientific interests lie in the field of Atmospheric Physics, where I seek to unravel the mysteries of our climate.

Within the realm of atmospheric physics, my interests span a wide spectrum, for example, extreme events, tropical cyclones,climate dynamics,heatwaves,Hydroclimate, the application of machine learning to climate physics,Land-atmosphere interactions and more.What truly captivates my interest is the intersection of classical climate dynamics and cutting-edge machine learning techniques to seek novel solutions to pressing climate challenges.

I'm currently fervently engaged in three fascinating research projects: the first involves using machine learning to forecast the trajectory of tropical cyclones in the Bay of Bengal, a region known for its meteorological dynamism; the second involves using machine learning to forecast heatwaves in Bangladesh; and the third involves conducting a thorough analysis of extreme weather events in Bangladesh.
